Good things come to those who wait.
It’s almost Autumn—and I can hardly wait. I’m tired of being hot. I’m ready for cooler mornings, crisp blue skies and golden afternoons. It’s my favorite time of year! I try to shove a whole year of living into a few short months. There’s apples to pick, mums to plant, pumpkins to buy and pictures to take! Who has time to sleep when the world is so full of beauty?
This year, I’m excited to introduce a new location for my mini-sessions. I will continue to offer minis at my favorite places, but this year I’m adding the Virginia Capital Building in downtown Richmond. The regal white buildings are a stunning backdrop for photos. I can’t wait to see how these pictures will turn out!
Although mini-sessions are always quick and a little bit of crazy, I enjoy them tremendously. It’s a joy to see some of the same families year after year—watching the kids grow, get braces, and eventually pass their parents in height. And every year brings a season of new faces and the excitement of creating new family treasures.
I know I’ve said this before, but the return I get on investing in my clients is unlike any other job. In a few months, my mailbox will be stuffed with Christmas cards and I’ll have the immense pleasure of slicing open those envelopes to be greeted by the same smiling faces I saw through my lens. What joy! And hopefully, I'm bringing others joy, too. These photos are a gift today and a family treasure tomorrow.
Interested in a Fall 2021 mini-session? Sessions are $150 and include 8 hi-res digital images. After your session, I'll cull through your images and upload the best ones. You'll choose your 8 favorites, which I will then post-process: checking color, exposure and blemishes. Once I'm done, I'll upload your final images to your online gallery and you can download and use them immediately.
