Cultivate Capital Campaign | Elijah House Academy
CHALLENGE
Elijah House Academy sought to raise funds for a new multipurpose building to serve its growing school community. Because EHA serves students from underserved communities, the capital campaign would rely heavily on the generosity of donors beyond its student families. The challenge was to develop a compelling, cohesive visual identity and supporting communications that would engage the broader community and communicate the school's vision.
APPROACH
As a member of EHA's Capital Campaign Marketing Committee, I collaborated with fellow committee members to develop a cohesive visual direction for the Cultivate campaign. Through discussion and feedback, we refined the creative direction to support the campaign's goals and messaging.
I designed the campaign logo and visual identity, then carried that identity across a coordinated suite of materials, including the Case for Support, stationery, donor communications, invitations, and event collateral.
RESULTS
The Cultivate capital campaign helped make EHA's new multipurpose building a reality, providing indoor space for physical education, after-school athletics, and additional classes, helping them more fully cultivate character, competition, and community. The campaign's visual identity brought consistency to the campaign's communications, supporting its outreach to donors and the broader community.
Case for Support
Working with copy, photography, architectural plans, and other assets provided by the campaign team, I developed the overall layout and visual presentation of the Case for Support, organizing a substantial amount of information into a cohesive, accessible piece.
Campaign Collateral
Beginning with the Cultivate logo, the campaign identity was carried across a range of materials, creating a consistent visual presence at every donor touchpoint.
In addition to the note card with a matching envelope, the committee put together an invitation for a neighborhood "Gather Together" event.
Pieces included letterhead with matching #10 envelope, and a neighborhood "Mix & Mingle" event invitation.
